We had a great night at the at the national i newspaper Staycation awards at the stunning St Pancras Renaissance Hotel. We were finalists in the Best Camping site category and while we didn’t win on this occasion we’re so proud to have been shortlisted in the top 4 nationwide, especially in our first season!

Matt Baker from BBC Countryfile and the ONE show was a brilliant host and spoke passionately about the importance of both tourism and farming to the UK economy.  We also invited him to come and experience some luxury glamping with us when he is next in Devon!

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet other tourism businesses, hear about what great work they are doing and exchange some top tips. It was very clear that everyone in attendance is committed and passionate to ensure guests have a quality and memorable staycation wherever they decide to go in the country.

A great celebration all round and next week we have the Visit Devon awards – another chance to toast the end of our first season!
