Family or Group Glamping in Devon
Considering a glamping break with a family or group?
Our safari tents are ideal for families and are big enough if grandparents or aunties and uncles also want to join the glamping holiday as they sleep up to six and both bedrooms have access to the bathroom. The kitchen is supplied with crockery and cutlery for up to six people.
Alternatively a popular option is to book all three tents either for a birthday celebration or annual gathering – the safari tents are far enough apart not to be on top of one another but also close enough that you don’t have to trek miles to reach your neighbours! If booking the whole site one of our paella meal kits are a great option for feeding the masses! You can find out more about them here.

What attractions are nearby?
For older children and groups a really fun activity is the Bear Trail a 20-minute drive away. A muddy assault course that the whole family can enjoy! Haldon Forest Country Park has a variety of activities from bike trails, nature trails, segway to high ropes. In the warmer months the River Dart Country Park makes a great day out – there is a swimming lake amongst numerous other outside play areas – you can check out our review of it here. If you have children that love theme parks then Crealy is just outside of Exeter and has log flumes, roller coasters and a new addition is Sooty Land! If you want to enjoy some fresh country air then you have the choice of two National properties (Killerton and Knightshayes) just a 20 minute drive, the two National Parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor and we also love Canonteign Falls and Becky Falls. A day at the beach is also a must and you can check out our recommendations here.
