We had a fabulous trip - this is proper glamping! The tents are amazing and the location is too. Emma and Matt are great hosts - they have thought of everything, in fact they have a hotel mentality for Valleyside Escapes, without being intrusive. Our children loved the wooden pod for sleeping in, and we were very snug indeed as we were in the more autumnal feeling end of Autumn. We had a few Devon downpours and the log burner meant no damp feelings at all. The local wine, coupled with the house paella was amazing! Book with confidence; you'll love it here.

We were completely comfortable from the snug beds, rainfall shower, cabin bed and under play area, and the fully fitted kitchen (there's even a fridge-freezer!). The site is right next to three tourist hotspots and eateries. There is also a very well stocked and good value on-site larder too. Well worth a visit - you won't be disappointed.”

“We booked all three tents with friends. The site is fab - contained so that children and dogs can't wander too far, and great facilities including a fantastic play area. The tents themselves are huge, very practical and have everything you need for a few days away. The site is in a great setting - quiet and in the middle of the countryside, facing the sunset and close to the Exe river / a beautiful walk to meadows and paddling plus the Devon Railway Centre which is perfect for young train enthusiasts. Good shops, including a farm shop, are nearby and it's not far to the beach and places like Canonteign Falls and Killerton National Trust. Perfect few days enjoyed by all!”
