Hello March! We are on countdown for our fifth season of glamping and re-open on the 31st March ready for some Easter glamping fun!

New for young glampers…
There is lots of different nature and animals here at Valleyside Escapes – a deer has been spotted in the glamping field and being so close to the river you will often see heron or egrets circling. We are creating a ‘wildlife wall’ outside our honesty shop where you can check when various wildlife were last spotted – everyone can get involved but you will need to keep your eyes peeled!

Our children’s activities have been refreshed and the competition running this year is for young glampers is to create their very own nature-related menu inspired by the mud kitchen. We will short list the menus we think sound the most mouth-wateringly delicious and get our Facebook followers to select their favourite. There will be a very special prize for the winner – to be revealed soon!

Our nature trail has also had a revamp and now incorporates our river meadow so children will have to spot things on land, in the water and in the sky!

Groups can get crafty…
Happy Glaze Pottery are a mobile pottery studio. It is a fun and relaxing group activity and something that all ages can get involved in. There are lots of different things you can paint from animals and figures to planters and kitchen items, as well as classics like mugs, vases, plates and bowls. You can pre-book a session to take place on-site while staying with us. Further details will be included in pre-arrival information.

Inside the tents…
Many glampers have celebrated birthdays so we decided to invest in some pretty fabric birthday bunting. Let us know in advance and we can decorate your tent as a special surprise. We opted for fabric with the environment in mind so it can be re-used.

Our Birch cabin bed is also receiving a new bedding set – the design will be revealed on our socials soon!

Four-legged friends get a treat…
We now stock doggy ice-cream so your dog can also enjoy a sweet treat and cool down while on their glamping holiday. You can either pre-order for arrival or buy on-site. There are going to be a lot of tails wagging once they find out!

Our ‘magical holiday moments’ memory jar competition will continue and our annual Easter egg hunt is going to involve some maths – young glampers will have to ‘crack’ a code in order to get their hands on an Easter egg – we are off to do some calculations!
