Hatching an Easter escape!
Easter is a lovely time of year the flowers are in bloom, the days are longer, the sun begins to shine and we don’t need an excuse to indulge in lots of chocolate!
We have a few short breaks left for the Easter holidays so if you’re planning a luxury glamping break in Devon here are some highlights of what is happening locally so you can hatch a plan!
The Devon Railway Centre re-open their doors on 28 March – just a few minutes walk from us it’s a great place for younger children to hop on a train ride and burn some energy in the variety of indoor and outdoor play areas. From 10-13 April children will also be able to meet Betsy Bunny and help find the hidden Easter Eggs!
For LEGO® enthusiasts a visit to Paignton Zoo is a must. They are hosting the Great Big Brick Safari Trail with 80 giant wild animal models, from a jumbo-sized elephant to marvellous macaws and a cool crocodile, made from over 1 million bricks, alongside the real animals at the zoo!
If you fancy a trip to the coast the historic village of Clovelly have hidden 15 chicks – they are perched up and down the cobbled High Street to the quay. Will you find them all and receive a prize?
National Trust Killerton are hosting an Easter adventure for the whole family. Get ready for fun and discovery as you spot the first signs of spring and experience nature bursting into life in the blossoming garden and parkland. Follow bunny’s clues and finish your adventure with a delicious, chocolatey Cadbury’s treat.
We’re also hosting our very own Valleyside Escapes Easter egg hunt – it is going to be a choc-tastic Easter!
