January is whizzing by! We’re currently catching up with winter admin and in doing so realised we’d hit over 100 five-star reviews – these are public reviews that glampers have left on either TripAdvisor, Facebook or Google. We were very chuffed to reach this milestone and thank everyone who has left a review for us. We hope there are many more to come this year.

What does 2022 have in store? We’re very excited to let you know that our glampers will now be able to picnic and walk in our riverside meadow just across the footpath from our glamping site with the River Exe running alongside it. Our guests have private access enabling even more exploring directly from the doorstep. There is a place for paddling or, for the more adventurous, kayakers or paddle boarders can join the river here too for their very own adventure downstream. There is lots of space for kids to run around and play in too!

For young glampers we’re transforming the free nature activity we provide to a sensory treasure trail part of which can only be done in the dark at night! We’re also introducing a ‘magical moments memory jar’. Anyone staying with us can submit their favourite thing about their glamping experience and at the end of the year we’ll share the top 10 memories on our social media and select one at random to win a hamper full of Devon goodies.

We’re also looking forward to welcoming many glampers who will be attending weddings at Valleyside Barn. It’s going to be lots of fun and many memories will be created…65 days and counting!
