2020 has been an unexpected year for everyone. Our season 2 was delayed for three months due to the global coronavirus pandemic, however, we were lucky enough to welcome glampers from July.

We’ve created a show reel of highlights from the season, including photos our glampers posted on social media, to share and spread some much needed light relief.

This year more than ever there was a desire to escape to the great outdoors, spend time away from normal surroundings and embrace the ‘staycation’. We are extremely thankful that we could open and offer a much needed change of scenery in the comfort of our luxury, award-winning, safari tents overlooking the beautiful Exe Valley.

It would not have been possible without the dedication of our extended team – Lou, Mel and Caroline, who worked tirelessly on every changeover day to ensure our cleaning processes were in line with government and industry guidelines to make our site ‘covid-secure’. A HUGE thank you to them for all their hard work.

Our new features this year – the games locker, nature trail and picture competition, S’mores kits and Friday night bar event, were a big hit so we will continue these for 2021. Next year we’ll be adding some more features to make our tents even more comfortable and enhance the experience everyone has when staying with us.

For now, while we prepare for season 3, and what we hope is a more promising year for everyone, we are embracing a slightly slower pace of work life and looking forward to the festive season. Enjoy the highlights show reel!
